Student Support - HTICP - Healing Touch Integrative Care Program

Sutdent Support Services - ICP Services

Support, mentorship and community have always been an integral part of the Healing Touch learning experience.

We offer supervised services specifically designed to provide students ongoing learning opportunities that increase their confidence and skill in providing Healing Touch to patients.

Experience has shown that students who receive supervised support shortly after classroom training are more confidence using Healing Touch immediately with patients. We provide experienced certified practitioners to supervise student sessions.

Group Practice Sessions

Group practice sessions are design to provide students continued learning and sharing experiences with Healing Touch after taking classes. They provide a safe environment to deepen skills, and the opportunity to share knowledge and best practices.

Group practice sessions are supervised by a qualified Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and are an experiential teaching tool designed to instill confidence in using Healing Touch with patients. We help you establish ongoing group practice sessions as an effective way to build a sustainable program.

The greatest benefit is achieved when students attend the first Healing Touch practice group session within one to two weeks of completing the Level 1, 2 or 3 class.

Practice sessions are typically two hours long and are held one or two times a month. The first hour is spent practicing techniques in pairs or triads, followed by one hour of feedback and discussion. Scheduling is flexible and tailored to meet your needs.

Bedside Rounds Providing Healing Touch

Bedside rounds are a valuable learning experience that build student confidence in explaining and providing Healing Touch to patients.

A Healing Touch Certified Practitioner experienced in healthcare leads a group of students in providing Healing Touch to patients that give consent. Bedside rounds typically last two hours and are followed by one hour of interactive discussion. We have found that rounds are an experiential teaching tool that instills confidence in explaining and using Healing Touch with patients.

The greatest benefit is seen when bedside rounds are scheduled within one week of completing the Level 1, 2 or 3 class. Timing is flexible and tailored to your needs.

Prices vary for group practice sessions and bedside rounds, and tailored quotes are provided.
